Backend Engineer • Entry-Level

You are a highly motivated individual with a foundational understanding of backend engineering principles. You have experience with programming languages such as Java and Python, and you are eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment. You possess a basic understanding of REST APIs and have some familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker. You are comfortable working in a team setting and are open to feedback, continuously seeking to improve your skills and knowledge in software development.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from collaborating with stakeholders on initial concepts to deploying and monitoring production code. You will design and implement features that enhance the multi-tenant architecture of SAFE Security, focusing on objectives such as scaling, cost optimization, and resiliency.

You will take ownership of verticals like Authentication and Authorization, ensuring that access control mechanisms are robust and secure. You will also contribute to improving the Developer Experience and work on Infrastructure as Code initiatives, helping to streamline deployment processes.

Your responsibilities will include writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights that drive project success.
