What you'll do

As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer at Samsara, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the BLE implementation across our mobile products, including Samsara Driver and Samsara Fleet. Your work will directly impact how our customers interact with our platform, enabling them to perform critical tasks efficiently while on the go. You will collaborate with product and design teams to define and implement new features that enhance connectivity and user experience.

You will take ownership of the mobile connectivity platform, ensuring that it meets the high standards of performance and reliability that our users expect. This includes writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers on best practices in mobile development. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise in the mobile applications, ensuring a smooth user experience.

In addition to development work, you will participate in sprint planning and contribute to the overall technical direction of the mobile team.
