What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Samsara, you will play a crucial role in developing the foundational systems that enable customers to model their organizational structures on the Connected Operations Cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product and Design, to ensure that the solutions you build meet the needs of both external customers and internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable software solutions that enhance the functionality of Samsara's platform. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and testing. Your expertise will help guide architectural decisions and ensure that the systems you build are robust and maintainable.

You will also be responsible for collaborating with other engineers to conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and promote best practices within the team. Your ability to communicate effectively will be essential as you work with various stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on your designs. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall strategy of the EMBS team and help shape the future of Samsara's product offerings.
