What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Safety Detection team, you will contribute to the development of a platform that provides real-time insights into fleet performance and safety. You will design and implement scalable systems that process large volumes of events, helping customers identify driving and environmental risks effectively.

You will collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define technical requirements and ensure that the solutions you build align with customer needs. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and conducting code reviews to uphold high standards of software quality.

You will also participate in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design through deployment and monitoring. Your insights will help shape the future of Samsara's product offerings, as you work on innovative solutions that enhance safety and efficiency in physical operations.
