Who you are
You are a highly skilled Camera Optomechanical Engineer with a strong background in optics and mechanics — you have experience designing and integrating imaging systems that perform reliably in harsh environments. Your expertise in developing ruggedized camera enclosures and mounting systems is complemented by your ability to work collaboratively with hardware, perception, and autonomy engineering teams.
You thrive in challenging conditions and understand the environmental constraints that affect camera performance at sea. Your problem-solving skills enable you to create innovative sensor integration strategies that ensure robust and high-performing vision systems. What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design and integration of imaging systems for Saronic's Autonomous Service Vessels. You will be responsible for developing ruggedized camera enclosures that can withstand harsh maritime conditions while ensuring optimal performance. Collaborating closely with hardware, perception, and autonomy engineers, you will ensure that the vision systems are reliable and effective in real-world applications.
