Saronic is seeking a Commissioning Software Technician to integrate and deploy autonomous systems in maritime environments. You'll work hands-on with software and networking to ensure reliable performance. This role requires experience in debugging and optimizing autonomy algorithms.

You have a strong background in software and networking, with hands-on experience in deploying and integrating complex systems. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, allowing you to troubleshoot and optimize performance effectively. You are familiar with autonomy algorithms and understand how to refine them based on real-world data. You thrive in environments where you can directly impact mission success, and you are passionate about advancing maritime autonomy technology. You enjoy working collaboratively with commissioning staff and end-of-line managers to adapt technology to meet mission needs. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly makes you a valuable link between engineering teams and operational success.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be at the forefront of integrating and deploying Saronic's autonomous systems during commissioning and sea trialing. You will work closely with software and networking components to ensure that our autonomous service vessels perform reliably in real-world settings. Your responsibilities will include debugging and optimizing autonomy algorithms, refining system performance based on operational data, and troubleshooting networking issues. You will also improve sensor integration and refine control logic to enhance the capabilities of our systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success of maritime operations, making a significant impact on how autonomy is implemented at sea. You will be involved in field deployments, ensuring that our technology meets the demands of real-world environments. Your role will require you to adapt quickly to changing conditions and collaborate effectively with various teams to achieve mission objectives.
