Low Voltage Technician • Entry-Level

Who you are

You are a licensed Electrician with a strong background in low voltage systems and hold a valid C-7 license. You take pride in your craftsmanship and thrive in a startup environment where every installation contributes to building the future of home safety. You have excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating with teams to ensure successful project outcomes. You are detail-oriented and capable of troubleshooting electrical issues effectively, ensuring compliance with NEC and California codes.

Desirable

Familiarity with schematic design and a deep understanding of ethernet-based systems and POE is a plus. Experience managing or supervising electrical technicians will also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for planning field installations of residential security systems, including the placement of cameras. You will create standard operating procedures for quick, accurate, and efficient field operations when on-site at client locations. Leading onsite electrical troubleshooting will be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. You will run conduit, pull, and terminate low voltage wiring, serving as a knowledgeable point of contact for the team regarding all aspects of low voltage installations.
