You are a skilled Systems Engineer with a strong technical background in designing and implementing IT systems and networks. You thrive in a collaborative environment and have experience working with cloud and on-premises infrastructures. Your expertise in automation and generative AI aligns with our mission to revolutionize IT operations. You possess a solid understanding of compliance requirements, particularly in federal environments, and are committed to maintaining security and privacy standards.
You have hands-on experience with AWS and Linux, and you are proficient in using Docker for containerization. Your familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible allows you to streamline processes and enhance system reliability. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring that systems run smoothly and efficiently.
What you'll do
As a Systems Engineer at ScienceLogic, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of our internal systems and networks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our IT infrastructure meets the needs of our business and complies with federal regulations. Your role will involve working on cloud environments, particularly FedRAMP Moderate, and providing in-person support at our data center in Ashburn, VA.
You will engage in continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging automation to optimize IT operations. Your contributions will help us build a foundation for Autonomic IT, where systems are self-healing and self-optimizing. You will also be involved in monitoring system performance, conducting regular audits, and implementing security measures to protect our information assets.
