Job Description
Who you are
You have a solid background in frontend development, particularly with JavaScript and React, and you understand the nuances of building applications that cater to diverse user needs. Your experience includes working on projects that require attention to detail, especially in handling bi-directional text and RTL rendering. You possess a strong product sense and empathy for users, particularly educators and students in bilingual or Arabic-medium classrooms. Exposure to cloud-based environments like AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with frontend observability and performance tooling such as logging and error tracking. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited about contributing to a mission-driven company that impacts education.
What you'll do
As a Frontend Engineer at Seesaw, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our platform's capabilities for the MENA region. You will work closely with the International Growth team to develop features that improve Arabic support across our AI functionalities and enhance text and assessment pipelines. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with product managers and designers to translate user needs into functional and engaging features. You will also be tasked with debugging and resolving issues related to encoding and rendering, ensuring a seamless user experience for our diverse audience. Additionally, you will contribute to the product roadmap, providing insights based on user feedback and technical feasibility. Your work will directly impact how educators and students interact with our platform, making learning more inclusive and accessible.
