You have a strong background in operations management, ideally with experience in logistics or freight forwarding. You understand the complexities of managing teams and executing transport strategies effectively. Your leadership skills enable you to motivate and guide your teams towards achieving departmental and company objectives. You are data-driven and capable of setting and reviewing KPIs to ensure adherence to company-wide goals. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with various departments, including Procurement and Commercial.

Desirable

Experience in the logistics industry is a plus, particularly in managing relationships with key suppliers and understanding procurement processes. Familiarity with digital tools for freight management will enhance your ability to optimize operations.

What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Supervisor, you will manage teams responsible for executing both domestic and international transports. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the department's strategy, ensuring that your teams are equipped to cover available freight effectively. You will work closely with the Country Manager and the Director of Commercial to manage existing customer relationships and activate new ones, ensuring the highest quality of transport services. Your responsibilities will include setting and reviewing KPIs, supporting the Procurement department in tender evaluations, and organizing meetings to present strategies and results to management. You will also contribute to the yearly budget definition and ensure that periodic reports and analyses are provided to the management team.
