You have 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, where you've successfully built and maintained CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid software delivery. Your expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, allows you to design scalable and reliable infrastructure that meets the demands of a growing engineering organization. You are proficient in containerization technologies like Docker, which you use to streamline application deployment and management. Your strong understanding of Linux systems enables you to troubleshoot and optimize server performance effectively.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with software engineers to ensure that the development and operations teams are aligned. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential issues before they impact production. You are also familiar with infrastructure as code practices, particularly using tools like Terraform to manage and provision cloud resources efficiently.

What you'll do

As a DevOps Engineer II at Sezzle, you will be a core member of the Platform Engineering team, responsible for building the systems and tooling that support a 150-person engineering organization. You will work on automating deployment processes and improving the overall efficiency of software delivery. Your role will involve collaborating with developers to implement best practices for CI/CD, ensuring that code changes are tested and deployed seamlessly.

You will also be tasked with monitoring system performance and reliability, using your expertise to identify areas for improvement. This includes setting up alerting and monitoring solutions to ensure that any issues are quickly addressed. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of internal tools that enhance the productivity of the engineering team, enabling them to focus on delivering high-quality software.
