Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in wireless communication technologies and have spent at least 5 years optimizing network performance in complex environments — your expertise allows you to evaluate and improve wireless solutions effectively. You are skilled in managing network performance metrics and have experience with Over-The-Air (OTA) testing, ensuring robust performance across various scenarios.
Your experience includes developing and implementing system-level algorithms aimed at enhancing performance metrics — you understand the intricacies of wireless standards and can tune performance to meet system-level KPIs. You thrive in challenging environments and are adept at extending the range of wireless solutions while managing various connection topologies.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the evaluation and optimization of Skydio's wireless solutions, focusing on extending range and managing connection topologies — your work will directly impact the performance of drones in real-time applications. You will be responsible for deploying and testing wireless networks to ensure they meet system-level KPIs, particularly in congested environments.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate algorithms that improve performance metrics — your insights will drive the future of autonomous flight technology. You will also conduct extensive testing, both conducted and Over-The-Air, to ensure the reliability and robustness of wireless communication systems.
