Who you are
You have a strong background in cybersecurity, with extensive experience leading cybersecurity programs and ensuring compliance with various regulatory frameworks. Your expertise includes NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and ISO/IEC 27001, and you are well-versed in the intricacies of aviation-related information systems. You possess excellent leadership skills and can effectively communicate cybersecurity policies across a collaborative IT organization.
You have a proven track record of driving cybersecurity framework alignment and certification readiness, ensuring that your organization meets the highest standards of data protection. Your strategic mindset allows you to navigate complex regulatory environments while maintaining a focus on operational excellence. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of audit management processes, which enables you to prepare for and respond to audits effectively.
What you'll do
As the IT Cybersecurity Lead, you will be responsible for the overall cybersecurity program within Skyryse. You will collaborate closely with the Head of IT to develop and implement cybersecurity strategies that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve authoring and enforcing cybersecurity policies and procedures, ensuring that all team members understand and adhere to these guidelines.
You will lead initiatives to achieve compliance with various cybersecurity frameworks, including CIS Top 18, SOC 2 Type 1/2, and FedRAMP. This will require you to stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats, allowing you to proactively address potential vulnerabilities within the organization. You will also oversee the training and development of IT staff in cybersecurity best practices, fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
