Snowflake is hiring a Software Engineer to join their Regulatory & Sovereign Cloud team. You'll design and maintain core services while developing automation tools for compliance and security. This role requires a solid understanding of programming languages, preferably Go and Python.

Who you are
You are a motivated and versatile engineer with a solid understanding of at least one programming language, preferably Go or Python. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to tackle complex, multi-faceted problems that impact government and highly regulated markets. You have a passion for innovation and a commitment to building secure and compliant systems.
You understand the importance of compliance with strict governance standards and are familiar with the full development lifecycle, from initial design and planning to deployment, monitoring, and support. You are skilled in debugging and troubleshooting complex issues across various layers of a tech stack, with a focus on auditability and security.
What you'll do
As a member of the RSC team, you will design, implement, and maintain core services that support Snowflake's sovereign and regulatory cloud platform. You will develop automation tools to improve the efficiency, reliability, and security of systems, ensuring compliance with stringent data sovereignty and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with other engineering teams to understand their needs and challenges, providing support to meet specific requirements.
You will contribute to the full development lifecycle, engaging in activities from initial design and planning to deployment and ongoing support in a regulated environment. Your role will involve debugging and troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring that the systems you work on are secure and compliant with governance standards.
