You have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on building scalable and reliable systems β your experience includes designing and implementing core components for data integration platforms. You are familiar with Apache NiFi and understand its capabilities in handling real-time data movement across various sources and sinks.

What you'll do
As a Staff Software Engineer on the Snowflake Openflow team, you will design and build the core components of Openflowβs control plane and data plane β your work will deliver reliable, scalable, and secure services that power real-time, bi-directional data movement for global customers. You will collaborate with original creators and core contributors to Apache NiFi, leveraging their expertise to enhance Snowflakeβs AI Data Cloud.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the platform supports both batch and streaming data processing, enabling customers to continuously ingest data and power their AI and analytics workloads. Your role will involve working end-to-end across high-performance runtimes and curated connectors, ensuring that the integration platform meets the needs of diverse data environments.
