What you'll do

In this role, you will architect and design scalable backend systems that are both resilient and high-performing. You will leverage AWS cloud-native services to develop and deploy production-grade solutions in Golang, ensuring that they meet the demands of real-time identity verification. Your responsibilities will include driving the technical direction of projects, collaborating with product teams to align on strategy, and mentoring junior engineers to help them grow in their roles.

You will be hands-on with coding, tackling complex backend challenges while also overseeing the overall architecture of the systems you build. Your role will require you to engage in code reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the codebase remains maintainable and efficient. You will also be involved in incident response and production monitoring, addressing any issues that arise promptly to minimize downtime.

As a key member of the engineering team, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices, advocating for innovative solutions that enhance the team's productivity and the quality of the products delivered. You will work closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure that the backend systems you develop align with the company's goals and customer needs.
