What you'll do

As a Staff Mobile Engineer at SoFi, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the mobile app, particularly focusing on the home screen and core experiences. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to ship new features and improve existing ones. Your responsibilities will include enhancing system architecture, squashing bugs, and ensuring that the mobile app meets the highest standards of quality and performance. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering their growth within the team.

You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring that user feedback is incorporated into the product development process. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest trends in mobile technology and apply them to improve SoFi's offerings. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall technical direction of the mobile team.
