Who you are
You have extensive experience in information security, particularly in assessing third party service providers. Your expertise in information security key controls allows you to evaluate compliance and operational effectiveness across various service categories. You understand the importance of data risk management and can navigate complex legal and business scenarios. Your ability to communicate effectively with Third Party Relationship Managers is crucial for resolving issues and ensuring adherence to service level agreements. You are detail-oriented and focused on critical process steps, ensuring that assessments are thorough and accurate.
Desirable
Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks and standards is a plus. Familiarity with risk management tools and methodologies will enhance your ability to perform in this role. A background in financial services or technology will provide valuable context for your assessments.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting and completing a comprehensive book of third party information security assessments. You will work closely with various business units to ensure that all assessments meet predefined service level agreements. Your role will involve analyzing data risk scenarios and understanding the ownership and use of data across third party services. You will collaborate with Third Party Relationship Managers to drive the resolution of any issues that arise during the assessment process. Your assessments will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of SoFi's operations.
