Who you are
You have a strong background in financial analysis and reporting, with at least 5 years of experience in a business analyst role. You thrive in collaborative environments and are skilled at developing relationships with cross-functional teams, including finance and program managers. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify trends and variances in financial data, providing valuable insights to leadership. You are proficient in SQL and have experience with financial forecasting and reporting processes. You are detail-oriented and can manage multiple priorities effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality reports.
Desirable
Experience with financial planning and analysis tools is a plus, as is familiarity with data visualization software. You are comfortable learning new systems and processes quickly, adapting to the needs of the business as they evolve. Your ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner makes you an asset to any team.
What you'll do
As a Senior Business Analyst in FP&A at SolarWinds, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing the company's P&L reporting structure, analyzing actuals versus forecasts, and identifying the causes of variances. You will collaborate with finance and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial metrics. Your role will involve developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, including CXOs and program managers. You will also prepare and review monthly forecasting and contribute to the full-year planning process, ensuring that all KPI-relevant parameters are organized and delivered smoothly.
