Who you are
You are a motivated and proactive engineer with a strong background in ASIC validation and FPGA development. With at least 5 years of experience in silicon engineering, you have a deep understanding of the design and validation processes for complex integrated circuits. Your intellectual curiosity drives you to explore innovative solutions that enhance connectivity in challenging environments.
You thrive in collaborative settings, working alongside cross-disciplinary teams that include systems, firmware, architecture, design, and product engineering. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams ensures that projects progress smoothly and efficiently. You are passionate about leveraging technology to make a significant impact on global connectivity.
Desirable
Experience with satellite communication systems or aerospace applications is a plus. Familiarity with industry-standard validation tools and methodologies will set you apart. You are comfortable working in fast-paced environments and are eager to contribute to groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of technology.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and validating cutting-edge FPGAs and ASICs that are deployed in SpaceX's satellite and ground infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to ensure that the designs meet rigorous performance and reliability standards. Your work will directly contribute to the success of Starlink, the world's largest satellite constellation, providing fast and reliable internet to millions.
You will lead validation efforts, creating test plans and executing validation tests to verify the functionality and performance of the silicon designs. Your expertise will help identify potential issues early in the design process, allowing for timely resolutions and ensuring that the final products meet SpaceX's high standards.
