Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a fast-paced environment where you have driven financial performance and profitability. Your strong analytical skills allow you to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and sales, to ensure financial objectives align with operational goals. Your communication skills enable you to present financial information clearly to executive management and other business leaders.

You possess a deep understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and how they relate to operational efficiency. You have experience in capital expenditure tracking and cash forecasting, ensuring that financial commitments are met as the business scales. Your ability to identify resource requirements and analyze spending variances makes you a valuable partner to business unit leaders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead financial planning and analysis efforts for SpaceX's diverse product lines, including Starlink, Starship, Falcon, and Dragon. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and analyze KPIs, ensuring that performance meets productivity targets. You will partner with business unit leaders to prepare financial analyses that inform optimal operational decision-making, providing insights that drive efficiency and profitability.

You will coordinate with the supply chain to track financial obligations and ensure commitments are appropriately managed as the company scales for rapid growth. Additionally, you will collaborate with accounting teams for financial close analysis and group-level reporting, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and timely. Your role will also involve providing detailed insights on spending variances and department-level reporting to business partners, helping them understand financial performance and make informed decisions.
