You have 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in designing consumer hardware products. Your expertise includes proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, allowing you to create detailed designs and specifications for high-volume production. You understand the complexities of integrating mechanical systems with electronic components, ensuring functionality and reliability in consumer products. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative designs to life. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle engineering challenges effectively, and you are committed to delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs. You are passionate about technology and its potential to improve lives, particularly in the context of global connectivity through initiatives like Starlink.

Desirable

Experience with satellite technology or telecommunications hardware is a plus, as is familiarity with rapid prototyping and testing methodologies. A background in working with high-volume manufacturing processes will enhance your ability to contribute to the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at SpaceX, you will lead the design and development of consumer hardware for the Starlink project.
