You have a strong background in mechanical engineering with experience in managing construction projects and maintenance operations. You are comfortable interacting with tradesmen, contractors, and building officials to coordinate and execute maintenance and repair tasks.

What you'll do

As a Facilities Mechanical Specialist, you will manage and coordinate construction projects at the SpaceX Bastrop Campus. This includes overseeing the installation and repair of HVAC equipment, electrical systems, and plumbing infrastructure. You will work closely with vendors to ensure that they meet SpaceX's high standards for quality and craftsmanship.

You will also be responsible for directing system repairs and ensuring that all facilities support equipment is functioning optimally. Your role will involve collaborating with a team of engineers and specialists to design and activate infrastructure for various projects, contributing to the overall mission of SpaceX.
