SpaceX is hiring an RF Systems Analysis Engineer to support regulatory efforts for Starlink, the world's largest satellite constellation. Who you are
You have a strong background in radio frequency systems and a keen understanding of regulatory environments — your expertise allows you to navigate complex legal and policy frameworks effectively. You are detail-oriented and capable of conducting thorough technical analyses related to radio frequency interference and satellite spectrum coordination. Your ability to model systems and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders is essential in this role.
What you'll do
In this position, you will support the team that advises SpaceX on legal and policy advocacy to ensure regulations enable the provision of Starlink's groundbreaking service. You will conduct technical analyses pertaining to radio frequency interference and satellite spectrum coordination, modeling Starlink and other systems to inform regulatory strategies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help advance Starlink's licensing and spectrum position in front of domestic and global regulators and government bodies, ensuring compliance while maximizing the utility of the service.
