Overview
SpaceX is hiring an NDE Inspector Trainee to train in nondestructive evaluation techniques. You'll work closely with experienced inspectors to gain certification and perform inspections. This role requires a high school diploma and completion of a comprehensive training program.

Who you are
You are motivated to start a career in nondestructive evaluation and have completed a comprehensive training program or have relevant experience at SpaceX. You are studious and autonomous, eager to learn and grow within the NDE Operations team. You understand the importance of safety and quality in aerospace manufacturing and are committed to achieving certification in various NDE methods.
What you'll do
As an NDE Inspector Trainee, you will receive on-the-job training from experienced NDE Inspectors, allowing you to learn the necessary skills to perform inspections effectively. You will leverage your training to prepare for and pass certification examinations, ensuring you are qualified to conduct NDE inspections. Your responsibilities will include interpreting and evaluating engineering drawings, communicating findings to production and engineering teams, and supporting the development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries. You will also assist in the research and development of future NDE technology to improve operational processes and help train others within the team.
