Who you are
You have a strong background in supplier development and manufacturing processes, particularly in Surface Mount Technology (SMT). Your hands-on experience with Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing equips you with the skills to ensure quality and reliability in high-volume production environments. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with cross-functional teams and global suppliers to drive process improvements and innovation.
You possess a deep technical understanding of SMT processes and are adept at managing the ramp-up of production lines. Your ability to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts demonstrates your commitment to excellence and your proactive approach to problem-solving. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet SpaceX's rigorous standards for quality and reliability. You will lead NPI efforts, collaborating with engineering teams to integrate new technologies and processes into production. Your expertise in SMT will be crucial as you drive process improvements and optimize production workflows to meet high-volume demands.
You will also manage the ramp-up of SMT production lines, ensuring that all processes are efficient and scalable. Your role will involve hands-on work with PCBA manufacturing, allowing you to apply your technical skills directly to the production process. You will work closely with suppliers to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions that enhance production capabilities.
