Who you are
You have a background in engineering with a focus on wastewater management or ultrapure water systems. You are skilled in developing and implementing processes that ensure the quality and reliability of manufacturing operations. You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable interacting with senior leadership to drive critical design phases. You understand the importance of manufacturability and throughput in engineering projects, particularly in high-stakes environments like aerospace.
Desirable
Experience with process optimization and equipment development is a plus. Familiarity with manufacturing processes related to electronics or solar cell production will enhance your candidacy. You are detail-oriented and have a strong commitment to safety and environmental standards.
What you'll do
As a Wastewater Engineer at SpaceX, you will take ownership of the ultrapure process water plant that supports our printed circuit board, silicon packaging, and solar cell manufacturing lines. You will be responsible for activating, qualifying, and optimizing operations to ensure consistency and reliability. Your role will involve close collaboration with engineering, development, and production teams to drive tools and processes from initial concept development to full-scale production. You will regularly interact with senior leadership to provide updates and insights during critical design phases, ensuring that the quality and user experience of the products meet the high standards set by SpaceX.
