Who you are
You have a strong background in project management, particularly in managing infrastructure projects within data centers and office environments. Your experience includes overseeing construction, ensuring that projects align with stakeholder requirements, and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. You are process-driven and a critical thinker, capable of navigating complex projects with multiple dependencies.
Your technical knowledge spans IT network and server infrastructure, as well as mechanical and electrical engineering principles. You understand the intricacies of infrastructure space management, power distribution, and physical security, which are essential for the role. You are adept at collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external partners to develop and enforce design standards and implementation strategies.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead and direct vendors through the Scope of Work and Requests for Proposals, ensuring that all aspects of construction projects are managed effectively. You will be responsible for managing the fit-out and build-out of construction projects, aligning them with stakeholder requirements and organizational standards. Your role will also involve providing capacity, inventory, and alert management, analyzing data to make informed recommendations for improvement.
You will anticipate and solve problems proactively, minimizing unplanned downtime and identifying opportunities for process enhancements. Your ability to initiate and carry out projects that add value will be crucial in this position. You will work closely with various teams to continuously improve standards and run books used in the design and commissioning of facilities.
