Who you are

You have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a strong emphasis on software development. With up to 4 years of experience in software or quant development, you are well-versed in C++ and have a solid understanding of Git and Linux. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively in a team environment, and you have a strong eagerness to continuously learn new technologies and develop your skills further. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are ready to tackle challenges head-on.

Desirable

A degree with an emphasis on low-level systems programming or high-performance computing would be advantageous. Experience with KDB+/q or Python is a plus, as is any background working in an investment or financial business.

What you'll do

At Squarepoint, you will be responsible for building the majority of our low latency and high performance systems that are critical to executing trading operations. Your work will directly impact our trading success by powering essential trading operations, serving low latency market data, and providing crucial market connectivity access. You will drive the design and implementation of trading frameworks and centralized services that process massive volumes of data, as well as develop high-volume distributed applications. Your contributions will push the boundaries of high-performance software, and you will have the opportunity to grow your skills in a highly collaborative work environment.
