Who you are
You have at least 2 years of tax experience, ideally in a multi-jurisdictional context, whether in a professional services firm or a comparable in-house tax role. You hold a relevant recognized qualification such as ACA or CTA, and you are also open to ATT/AAT qualifications. You are a team player with a strong work ethic, self-motivated, and capable of working independently. Your analytical skills and judgment are excellent, allowing you to navigate complex tax matters effectively. You can manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, demonstrating strong interpersonal and organizational skills. You thrive in a rapidly moving environment and are adaptable to change, showcasing your detail-oriented nature and ownership of your work.
What you'll do
In this role, you will assist in various aspects of the Groupβs international tax obligations for its management companies. You will prepare numbers and disclosures for audited financial statements and management reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will review direct tax returns prepared by service providers for the management companies, collaborating with internal teams to gather necessary information. Maintaining a compliance calendar will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that tax filing requirements are met and managing tax payments across various jurisdictions. You will also assist with transfer pricing matters, collating information to ensure adequate global documentation and liaising with service providers. Employment tax-related matters, including short-term business visitor reporting, will also fall under your purview. You will ensure that an effective tax documentation management system is maintained and assist in managing the tax compliance budget, accruals, and engagements. Interaction with various internal departments, including Finance, Legal, and HR, will be essential to your role, fostering collaboration and ensuring that tax strategies align with overall business objectives.
