You have 3+ years of experience building microservices and API layers — you've designed and implemented robust, flexible APIs that serve a diverse variety of datasets to customers. Your background includes working with data distribution and ensuring privacy principles are integrated into your work. You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering with product managers, engineers, and data stewards to deliver high-quality products. You are familiar with best practices in code reviews and system design, and you understand the importance of scalability and maintainability in microservices.

Desirable

Experience with self-service tools and frameworks is a plus, as is a strong understanding of data-driven insights and their application in product development. Familiarity with privacy regulations and data protection principles will help you excel in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and develop APIs and other interfaces to facilitate the programmatic delivery of datasets to internal and external stakeholders. You will build self-service oriented tools that enable partner teams to set up data delivery mechanisms efficiently. Your contributions will include peer reviews of source code changes and discussions around technical architecture, ensuring that best practices are continuously refined. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to improve the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of our microservices and pipelines. Your work will directly support initiatives in Squarespace's core products, providing relevant data-driven insights to customers.
