Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in product management, ideally within the tech or fitness industry, and have a proven track record of driving product strategy and execution. You are skilled at working cross-functionally with design, engineering, and data teams to bring innovative ideas to life. Your leadership style fosters a culture of ownership and excellence, and you are passionate about mentoring and developing product leaders within your team.
You understand the importance of aligning product roadmaps with company growth goals and have experience in defining and tracking success metrics. You are adept at navigating complex stakeholder environments and can effectively communicate product vision and strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited about the opportunity to shape the future of a product that inspires millions of users.
Desirable
Experience in the fitness or health tech sector is a plus, as is familiarity with user engagement metrics and product analytics tools. You are comfortable with agile methodologies and have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles. A background in data analysis or experience with A/B testing would be beneficial, as you will be expected to make data-driven decisions to enhance product offerings.
What you'll do
In this role, you will define and drive the product strategy for Strava's core product areas, including routes, maps, and activity analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product development aligns with user needs and company objectives. Your responsibilities will include shaping the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality experiences.
You will lead product discovery efforts, conducting user research and gathering feedback to inform product decisions. Collaborating with design and engineering teams, you will oversee the development process, ensuring that products are built with velocity and clarity. You will also mentor and develop product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to align on product vision and strategy, as well as presenting updates and insights to executive leadership. You will be responsible for defining success metrics and tracking product performance, using data to inform future iterations and enhancements.
