Backend Engineer

Who you are

You have experience with large-scale financial tracking systems and a good understanding of cloud-based services. You are comfortable working with technologies such as gRPC, GraphQL, Docker, and Kubernetes, and you have practical knowledge of AWS. You think of yourself as entrepreneurial and enjoy solving problems across varying technologies and stacks to delight both internal and external users.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on developing products and platforms that enable users to accept payments efficiently. This includes building APIs for processing payments and enabling regional, non-card payment options. You will work closely with the Payments and Risk teams to create best-in-class checkout experiences that enhance customer satisfaction and drive merchant conversion rates. You will also collaborate with the Risk Engineering team to develop products that minimize financial and regulatory risks while ensuring a seamless user experience.
