What you'll do

As the Lead Data Engineer, you will drive the Data Engineering Solutions Team in addressing high-impact data challenges — your role will involve leading the design and implementation of data pipelines that support various product teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data products are reliable and meet the needs of Stripe users.

You will be responsible for embedding data culture within product teams, guiding them in owning their data and utilizing the Stripe Data Platform effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in scaling data operations and enhancing the overall data strategy of the organization.

You will also focus on developing innovative AI tools and platforms that can streamline data processing and improve incident management — your insights will help shape the architectural decisions that drive the team's success.
