Who you are

You have 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a focus on developer tools or extensibility platforms — you've successfully led product initiatives from conception to launch, ensuring that user needs are met while balancing technical feasibility. You enjoy using social media to interact directly with customers for feedback and have a strong understanding of how to leverage user insights to drive product improvements.

Your hands-on approach means you only ship functionality after you’ve personally test-driven it and made heavy edits to the documentation — you understand the importance of quality and clarity in product delivery. You’ve founded a business or startup, taking a product from 0-1, which gives you a unique perspective on the challenges developers face when building on platforms like Stripe.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the Stripe Apps as the core platform for Stripe’s extensibility product experience. You’ll work on improving the end-to-end developer experience of building and releasing Stripe Apps, defining how developers should debug and fix extension runtime errors, and establishing how extensions should be packaged and versioned within Stripe Apps. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence tech roadmap planning and execution, ensuring that the product aligns with both user needs and business goals.

You will also engage with developers to gather feedback and iterate on product features, ensuring that the platform evolves in a way that meets their needs. Your role will involve defining success metrics for the product and using data to inform decisions and prioritize features. You will lead discussions on product strategy and work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure a seamless integration of new features.
