Who you are

You have 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a focus on payments or financial services — you understand the intricacies of card networks and the importance of delivering a seamless payment experience. Your strong analytical skills allow you to make data-driven decisions that enhance product offerings and user satisfaction.

You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, which enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with external partners. You thrive in a results-oriented environment and are willing to do whatever it takes to execute complex projects successfully.

Desirable

Experience working with card networks or banking partners is a plus, as is familiarity with SQL or a willingness to learn. If you have a background in external-facing roles such as sales or partnerships, that will further enhance your candidacy.

What you'll do

As a Product Manager for the Cards team at Stripe, you will own the strategy and execution for card processing in North America and LATAM. This involves defining and delivering the products and infrastructure that power our core processing for global card brands and local card networks. You will work closely with engineering leads to continuously improve and expand our card processing capabilities, ensuring that we meet the evolving needs of our customers.

You will conduct user research to understand customer pain points and identify opportunities for product enhancements. Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, you will define success metrics and track performance to ensure that our card processing offerings remain competitive and effective.

In this role, you will also be responsible for managing the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer feedback and market trends. You will lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring that all aspects of the product align with Stripe's mission to increase the GDP of the internet.
