Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will interact with various stakeholders, including leadership and users, to convey insights and drive decisions. What you'll do

As a Staff Engineer on the Financial Business Insights team, you will lead technical projects that empower Stripe to understand its business performance deeply. You will oversee the development and maintenance of the Financial Data Warehouse (FDW) and other internal data products, ensuring they meet the needs of various business functions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational automation and support the monthly financial close process. You will also be responsible for enabling Budget vs. Actual (BvA) analysis and facilitating board-level financial performance reporting. Your leadership will help ensure that the team delivers high-quality insights that inform key business decisions and strategies.
