Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining tools, engine, and backend systems — you've contributed to the development of at least one shipped title on console, PC, or VR, showcasing your ability to deliver high-quality gaming experiences. Your expertise in Unreal Engine is complemented by a strong understanding of automation, live ops, and multiplayer services, allowing you to create engaging and seamless gaming environments.
You are a generalist with broad experience in tools and engine development — you thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with various disciplines to build the best technology and games possible. Your passion for gaming drives you to continuously improve developer workflows and optimize systems for better performance.
What you'll do
As a Senior Technology Engineer at Survios, you will develop, improve, and support systems, services, and tools that automate builds, game testing, reporting, and asset processing. You will capture, store, and report analytics from the game, engine, and tools, ensuring that data-driven decisions enhance gameplay and user experience. Your role will also involve providing live ops and multiplayer services, which are crucial for maintaining player engagement and satisfaction.
You will improve and optimize general developer workflows in Unreal Editor and other tools, supporting standard developer needs with software such as Jenkins and Perforce. Your commitment to best practices will drive the development of systems, tools, and services that enhance the overall quality of the games produced. Additionally, you will create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring that knowledge is shared and accessible within the team.
Mentoring and reviewing the work of other engineers will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you help foster a culture of learning and growth within the technology team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the technology aligns with the creative vision of the games being developed.

We believe in nurturing our people and creating an environment where every team member feels respected and valued. Join us in driving toward the future of immersive gaming, where your contributions will have a direct impact on the gaming experiences we create.
