You have deep expertise in iOS development, with a strong background in delivering user-facing features from problem framing to implementation. Your experience ensures that you can elevate platforms and lead Swile Apps to provide the best possible user experience. You are committed to raising the quality bar and pushing the organization to operate with high performance.

You are skilled in writing well-documented, tested, and high-performance code in Swift and Objective-C, following best development practices. You understand the importance of ensuring that the iOS app performs well even on older devices, remains secure, and is stable. Your ability to set and enforce mobile quality targets demonstrates your commitment to excellence.

You possess crisp written and spoken communication skills, allowing you to partner effectively with Product, Design, and Backend teams. Your data-driven decision-making approach ensures that you contribute positively to the overall product strategy. You are also comfortable mentoring other engineers and influencing organizational standards.

Desirable

Hands-on experience with Android development using Kotlin or Java is a plus, as it allows you to design shared patterns and review cross-platform architecture effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and ship iOS features, guiding them from problem framing through design, implementation, rollout, and measurement. You will set and enforce mobile quality targets, such as achieving a crash-free rate of over 99.9% and ensuring accessibility compliance. Your leadership will extend to iOS architecture and standards, focusing on modularization, design system components, networking, and telemetry.

You will be responsible for shipping safely using reliable rollback strategies, ensuring that the features you deliver meet the highest standards of quality. Your influence will extend across the organization, as you engage in multi-team designs and standards adoption while mentoring senior engineers and raising the execution pace of your team.
