You possess strong leadership skills and are capable of setting and enforcing mobile quality targets, such as crash-free rates and accessibility compliance. You are adept at leading mobile architecture discussions and establishing standards that your team follows. Your communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, ensuring that all aspects of the app align with user needs and business goals. You are data-driven in your decision-making and are comfortable mentoring other engineers to improve team performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of Android features, guiding them from problem framing through design, implementation, rollout, and monitoring. You will set quality targets for the mobile application, ensuring that it meets high standards for performance and user satisfaction. You will lead discussions on mobile architecture and best practices, influencing multi-team designs and standards adoption across the organization. Your responsibilities will include conducting code reviews to maintain quality and mentoring junior engineers to foster their growth.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product and design, to ensure that the app meets user expectations and business objectives. Your role will involve analyzing user feedback and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in the app's functionality and user experience.
