Full Stack Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have 4+ years of professional hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Next.js, React, Node, ChakraUI, and Golang — you've developed high-performance applications and are comfortable creating responsive design systems from scratch. Your expertise includes building, securing, scaling, documenting, and deploying APIs using REST and Websockets, and you possess expert knowledge of SQL-based databases. You thrive in environments that require strong problem-solving skills and have experience working with microservices architecture. Your familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks and tools like Postman enhances your ability to deliver robust solutions.

You will stand out if you have experience programming in Go and working with Web3 libraries such as ethers or web3py. A background in financial services, particularly in TradFi, Crypto, or DeFi, is a plus, especially if you have prior trading experience with knowledge of derivative products like futures and options. Your understanding of non-trading DeFi products like swaps and lending will further distinguish you in this role.

What you'll do

As a Fullstack Engineer at Syndr, you will develop critical trading infrastructure and components for our platform to support trade execution, order matching, risk management, settlements, and data analytics. You will own the relationship with key stakeholders across the firm to inform the requirements, roadmap, and priorities, ensuring that the solutions you deliver align with business needs. You will be responsible for system design, architecture, and implementation, leaning on industry best practices to create scalable and efficient systems.

You will work under tight timelines to deliver critical business solutions, tooling, and analytics, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that your contributions have a meaningful impact on the company's success. Your role will involve continuous learning and adaptation as you work with the latest technology and web3 stack, contributing to a culture that values innovation and collaboration.
