Who you are

You have 4+ years of UX, UI, or product design experience — you've developed wireframes and prototypes that showcase your strong design aesthetic and user-centered design principles. Your portfolio demonstrates a passion for product design and an understanding of user needs and behavior, which you leverage to inform your design decisions.

You are proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite — your expertise extends to prototyping tools like InVision or Framer, allowing you to create high-fidelity designs that resonate with users. You possess a strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design, which you apply consistently across your work.

You are an open-minded and accountable individual who respects collaboration — you thrive in cross-functional teams, working closely with product managers, developers, traders, quants, and other designers to create and implement design solutions for the platform. Your ability to conduct user research and analysis ensures that your designs are informed by real user insights.

You stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies in the blockchain and derivatives industry — your ambition drives you to continuously improve your skills and adapt to new challenges in the design landscape.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design useful, beautiful, and performant experiences for users on Syndr's web and mobile trading platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement design solutions that enhance the user experience. Conducting user research and analysis will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you seek to understand user needs and behavior to inform your design decisions.

You will develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for the platform's user interface, ensuring a cohesive and consistent visual language throughout. Additionally, you will design marketing materials for growth campaigns and blog posts, contributing to the overall brand identity of Syndr.

Creating and maintaining design systems and style guides will be essential to ensure consistency across all design outputs. You will test and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis, continuously refining your work to meet user expectations.

You will also source and work with external contract design resources as needed, expanding the design capabilities of the team. Your role will involve staying informed about the latest design trends and technologies, particularly in the blockchain and derivatives industry, to keep Syndr at the forefront of innovation.
