Job Description
Who you are
You are a qualified solicitor in the UK with a minimum of 5 years PQE, specializing in data privacy law. Your strong understanding of GDPR and other relevant regulations allows you to navigate complex legal landscapes effectively. You possess excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills, which enable you to provide sound legal advice. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills help you liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, ensuring that legal considerations are integrated into business practices. Experience in ad tech and familiarity with Californian Data Privacy Laws is desirable, enhancing your ability to address diverse privacy challenges.
What you'll do
As a Privacy Counsel at Taboola, you will provide expert legal advice on data protection laws and regulations, ensuring that the organization’s policies and practices align with legal requirements. You will work on general compliance matters relating to the Digital Services Act (DSA) and AI laws, conducting regular assessments of data processing activities. Your role will involve assisting in the development of compliance strategies that safeguard the organization’s data handling practices. You will also advise on the legal implications of data privacy issues, including privacy impact assessments and data transfers. Additionally, you will provide privacy support to product launches and initiatives, ensuring that new offerings comply with applicable laws and regulations.
