Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and possess 1-3 years of audit experience, particularly in the non-profit sector. Your background includes public accounting experience, which is a plus, and you have a well-rounded knowledge of GAAP standards. You are comfortable with some travel and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

You thrive in roles that require clear communication and active listening, especially when discussing engagement expectations with clients. You are adept at researching accounting and auditing matters, documenting conclusions, and designing audit procedures using innovative technology and tools. You understand the importance of ethical practices in accounting and are committed to delivering accurate results.

What you'll do

As an Audit Associate, you will plan, coordinate, and supervise various phases of audit engagements, ensuring that financial statements are drafted accurately, including footnote disclosures. You will work closely with clients to communicate engagement expectations and keep them informed about accounting, financial, and regulatory developments that may affect their organizations. Your role will involve utilizing audit technology and innovation tools to enhance the audit process.

You will also be responsible for researching accounting and auditing matters, documenting your conclusions, and collaborating with your team to design effective audit procedures. Your contributions will help ensure that clients receive the benefits of a disciplined and experienced audit team, ultimately supporting their mission in the non-profit sector.
