You have a strong background in accounts receivable management, with at least 5 years of experience overseeing billing and collections processes. Your attention to detail ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. You are proactive in resolving complex account issues and have a knack for building strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining the company's financial health.

You possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to prepare and publish key performance indicators and dashboards that track metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and aging analysis. Your ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership ensures that they are informed of any variances and the overall health of the accounts receivable function. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable leading monthly close processes.

What you'll do

As the Accounts Receivable and Collections Manager at Tekion, you will oversee the entire accounts receivable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections. You will lead the monthly close processes, including sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations and the preparation of doubtful account provisions. Your role will involve conducting aging analysis and variance explanations to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

You will be responsible for preparing and publishing KPIs and dashboards that track critical metrics related to accounts receivable. This includes monitoring DSO, aging buckets, unapplied cash, and forecast accuracy. You will also own the Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) calculation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in fostering strong customer relationships, addressing any account issues proactively, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your leadership will guide the AR team in achieving their goals and maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and integrity.
