You are proficient in using AI tools effectively, including generating high-level and low-level design documents and evaluating AI suggestions critically. You take pride in writing high-quality code and are responsible for the components you work on, from design through to deployment and enhancements.

You are comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of subsystems, ensuring that every aspect of your work meets high standards. Your ability to build scalable agentic workflows is complemented by your understanding of the automotive retail ecosystem, which allows you to contribute meaningfully to Tekion's innovative platform. What you'll do

As a Lead Software Engineer at Tekion, you will design and build solutions that positively disrupt the automotive industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand complex business workflows and translate them into effective software solutions. Your role will involve leveraging AI and machine learning technologies to enhance the Automotive Retail Cloud and other platforms, ensuring they meet the needs of OEMs, retailers, and consumers alike.

You will be responsible for writing high-quality code and taking ownership of the components you develop. This includes everything from initial design and coding to testing, integration, and deployment. You will also evaluate AI-generated suggestions and use them to improve your coding practices and documentation processes. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience and the overall success of Tekion's innovative automotive platform.
