What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Tenable, you will be at the forefront of developing the VM Platform, which is integral to the Tenable One architecture. Your primary responsibility will be to design and maintain high-throughput, event-driven pipelines that process vast amounts of asset and vulnerability data. You will work closely with data collection teams to ensure that the data is accurately ingested and processed, allowing for real-time insights into the security posture of our customers.

You will move beyond simple CRUD operations, focusing on building systems that can handle massive scale and complexity. This involves architecting solutions that ensure data integrity and availability while optimizing performance. You will also be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the data pipelines, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently.

Collaboration is key in this role. You will partner with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features that meet customer needs. Your contributions will directly impact how Tenable helps organizations manage their cyber risk effectively.
