You have over 10 years of experience delivering scalable web applications and platform services across early-stage and enterprise companies. Your expertise includes designing and implementing data and analytics platforms, particularly with BigQuery, large-scale data warehousing, and pipelines that support analytics and product insights. You have a strong background in building backend services using Golang, and you are passionate about learning new knowledge and skills, quickly ramping up in new areas. You have a bias for action and are proactive in addressing sensitive topics within your team and the greater Product Delivery organization. Your experience includes interacting with customers and understanding their needs, which helps you drive product improvements.

What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer at Ternary, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable web applications that serve our enterprise and managed service provider customers. You will leverage your expertise in Golang to build robust backend services that optimize cloud spending and maximize business value. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and financial analysts, to ensure that our platform meets the needs of our users. Your role will involve developing data and analytics platforms that provide insights into cloud usage and spending, enabling our customers to make informed decisions. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their careers. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our FinOps platform, and you will play a key role in shaping its future.
