You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improving data processes and are always looking for ways to enhance the data infrastructure.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with engineers, data scientists, and managers to understand their data requirements and build datasets that meet their needs. You will be responsible for refining and promoting a comprehensive framework for integrating data-thinking into the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with various teams across the organization to ensure that data best practices are followed and that data is accessible and usable for analysis.

You will also play a key role in the ongoing development of Thumbtack's data warehouse, working to ensure that it is scalable and capable of handling the growing volume of data. You will participate in discussions around data governance and help establish standards for data management across the organization. Your contributions will directly impact how Thumbtack leverages data to improve its services and enhance the user experience.
