What you'll do

As the Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will lead the Calico Cloud and AI engineering team, overseeing the development of innovative solutions that enhance network security and observability in Kubernetes environments. You will collaborate closely with product management to define the roadmap and ensure that engineering efforts align with customer needs and market trends. Your role will involve setting technical direction, managing project timelines, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

You will be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, conducting regular one-on-ones, and fostering a culture of feedback and continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in recruiting top talent to join your team, ensuring that you build a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the values of Tigera.

In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you will spearhead initiatives to integrate AI capabilities into the Calico platform, driving innovation and enhancing the product's competitive edge. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in software development and ensure that the team adheres to high standards of code quality and performance.
